What we receive

Calendar Helper works by email. The only emails we ever see are the ones you choose to send to your personal helper address (e.g. pixie-314@calendar-helper.com). We never connect to your email account and never read your inbox.

Those emails may include:

• Text you type directly
• Forwarded emails you choose to share
• Photos or screenshots attached to the email

What we do with it

We pass the content of your email to an AI model (Google Gemini) to identify calendar events. The extracted events are added to a brand-new Google Calendar that we create on your behalf and share with you. That is the only calendar we ever touch.

We store:

• Your email address, to authenticate requests and send receipts
• The events we create (title, date, duration, timezone)
• Attachments you send, uploaded to secure cloud storage so the AI can read them
• A copy of your emails' text content, for debugging purposes, retained for a limited time

What we never do

• We never access your existing Google Calendar or any other calendar
• We never read your email inbox
• We never sell or share your data with third parties for advertising
• We never send you marketing email (only receipts for actions you triggered)

Third-party services

Calendar Helper uses the following services to operate:

• Google Gemini — AI model used to extract event details from your emails and images
• Google Calendar API — to create and manage your Helper calendar
• Google Cloud Storage — to store image attachments while they are being processed
• Resend — to deliver receipt emails back to you
• Supabase — to handle account authentication

Content you send is processed by these services solely to fulfil your request. We do not authorise them to use your data for any other purpose.

Data retention

Calendar events and your account information are kept for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the Settings page, which removes all associated data. Raw email dumps used for debugging are automatically rotated and kept for a limited number of recent messages only.
